Marie, this is not the first time you've read misogyny into one of my posts when I meant nothing of the kind. I was praising those wonderful unmarried women who gave of themselves selflessly, unlike many of the married ones who were more worried about their own families and tenure than about shaping young minds. No, they weren't nuns, they were professional educators who gave us an excellent foundation to grow upon. They took their profession seriously, and their sex had nothing to do with the fact that they truly cared about us, trying to instill a desire to learn and better ourselves.
