We could continue to argue about whether O'Malley had other choices to keep the Dodgers in Brooklyn or when he started dickering with the people in La La Land, but instead I should point out that the Boyer brothers both did not play for St. Louis in 1964. Ken played for St. Louis and Clete for the Yankees. To describe an end or start of a run as when a teams wins the World Series ignores the fact that getting to the World Series and losing is the second best thing that can happen and entertains the fans immensely for those seasons.
