It was O'Malley. He talked Horace into moving to San Francisco and Candlestick Park. They both moved after the 1957 season. The Dodgers moved to the L.A. Coliseum. Both places were terrible baseball parks. The Coliseum had an extremely short left (250 ft)and right field (300 ft). Candlestick Park was extremely windy and pitchers got blown off the mound many times. The Dodgers moved into Dodger Stadium (Chavez Ravine) in 1962 The Giants moved into Pacific Bell Park in 2000 after threatening for years to move to Tampa Bay if the didn't get a new Ballpark (Paid for with taxpayer money,of course). The Mets first two seasons were played in the Polo Grounds until the 1964 season when Shea Stadium was completed. My God, I just wrote an essay!
