AT PS 217 Mary Graves taught us how to waltz to the tune of Patti Page's Tennessee Waltz in the 5th floor GYM.She also instructed us on foul shooting underhanded ala Wilt and Rick Barry-which we junked as not being too cool in our nite center league games-but truth be told... (LOL) At Brooklyn Prep, Bill Duffy the varsity basketball coach (while keeping an eye out for prospects)would put us thru the Daily Dozen (Jumping Jacks, push ups, knee bends, etc) which regimen came in handy for Army Basic Training later on in life !He also allowed us to play shirts vs skins similar to our lunchtime intramural games. How about your PT memories back in the daze?
