My first bowling was at Freddy Fitzimmons with my new friend Shelly when I moved to Brooklyn in '57 in 3rd grade. Teen years were spent mostly at The Diplomat on Snyder Ave. between Flatbush and Bedford. Owned by the Spinella family, who also owned the Albermarle Rd. poolroom Joe Spinella's. Which became the next teen hangout after hanging around Flatbush and Church till 11 PM.
