I didn't realize that big names like Gene Stanley (Mr. America) and Antonino Rocca wrestled in such a low-class arena. I guess that was before they became really famous. Mike Mazurki always played a thug in those Grade-B crime movies of the 1940s and '50s, but he had originally been a college athlete.
