The Wizard of Oz was the first movie I ever saw. My parents took me to see it when I was 3 (in 1939). I also remember the movie beginning in B&W and then turning to technicolor when Dorothy gets to Oz. BTW, I had mentioned the Sun movie theater on Broadway in Williamsburg. My father said he went there when he was a boy and it cost 5 cents for 2 kids.
