We are all able to communicate with one another about our commonality, Brooklyn. To be certain, this is not possible to do with someone who grew up in another place, especially if from outside of the New York City area. In addition to my dreams, I "can go home again" by sharing back and forth with my Brooklyn brothers and sisters. It makes me feel good; it's wonderful to know that we have each other, albeit from different years and neighborhoods, to understand our feelings of what is still most important to us after all these years.
