Posted by Les Le Gear on Monday, February 8th 2010:

I'm interested in knowing when the following places closed:

Bowling alley and pool room(don't remember name, maybe "Louies")
located downstairs on Lincoln Road between Flatbush and Ocean Ave, near the Lincoln Road entrance to Prospect Park BMT station.
Hung out there in the early 60's. The bowling alley still had pin boys.

Grotto D'oro restaurant on Flatbush Ave near Parkside Ave. Great Italian food. It was there for a long time.

Kosher delicatessen, located I think on Flatbush Ave near Washington Ave.

Sear's Restaurant on Church Ave, near Ocean Ave.

Payless Hardware on the corner of Flatbush Ave and Hawthorne St.
