I remember "Forbidden Planet" well from seeing it at the movies in the 50s. The Freudian complications were really exciting--I think it was the first movie to combine science fiction and psychoanalysis (the ID--wow!). Do you remember seeing Leslie Nielson on TV? I think he had important roles on the Robert Montgomery Theatre or Studio One. How terrific was it that he should resurface in the police comedy series (can't remember the name) and in films (plus at least once on Columbo).
