The Channel 4 programming department worked hard to come with creative names. So their movie show was called Movie Four. It was on opposite the Early Show each day and the Late Show on weekends. On Sunday afternoon they had a movie show called Picture for a Sunday Afternoon. Great name. I also remember on occasion channel 2 would replace the Saturday Late Show with the Schaefer Award Theater. The Schaefer Award Theater was famous for having only four “commercial interruptions”. That was the first time I saw “Mr. Roberts”.
