new york times has reported a 70million dollar renovation and restoration of the old brooklyn kings on flatbush ave off beverly rd which originally opened in 1929 and closed around 1975. i remember going there as a kid and seeing some of the classic movies in that palatial ornate setting with plush carpeting,chandelliers,grand staircase etc. should be great for the old neighborhood
